I made this artwork in Acrylic on Canvas to honor the essential role that our Elders play in our communities. Their teachings through their stories are very important in the up ringing of our younger generations. By passing down their knowledge to our babies and youngsters, they ensure the survival of our vibrant Culture. In this particular image our Medicine Dress Society : The Jingle Dress Society honors our Elders.
